In 2021 on February 13, as part of the implementation of the grant project "Mediation: formation and transformation of society", four-day online training for teachers-mediators of Yuri Fedkovičius National University EPP "Mediation" began in Chernivtsi. It is led by Jan van Zwieten, a famous European mediation guru, mediator and rector of the Netherlands Business Academy. The training participants are 15 law students from EPP "Mediacija", two professors from the Department of Public Law, who teach various disciplines of this program.

. Jan van Zwieten has excellent knowledge of the legal market and the details of court decision-making and enforcement not only in the Netherlands, but also in Ukraine. Therefore, it is not surprising that communication with practicing and future lawyer-mediators was in one way or another about the mutual advantages of the professions of lawyer and mediator. For the participants of the training - students, this is an important element of the AAP "Mediation" training.

The training participants had a great opportunity to evaluate the non-standard approach of the practicing teacher and mediator to the understanding and use of resources in mediation, the parties' power and distribution of forces, the advantages and disadvantages of said distribution. At the same time, Jan van Zwieten drew attention to the famous Dutch proverb "Every disadvantage has an advantage".

The extraordinary interpretation of coaching mediation and the relationship between coaching concepts and techniques deserves special attention, which immediately raised many questions for the training participants: possible directions of interaction between professional coaches and mediators, what these specialists can be useful for. . each other? How effective will coaching be if a person experiences internal conflict? In which cases does the coach usually give up on the process and at what stage of coaching? The mediator must be empathetic, is there empathy on the part of the coach in coaching and does it not affect the effectiveness of this process? What coaching tools and technologies are most effective in the mediation process?

One of the most important aspects of the training that has begun, in our opinion, is that it provides an opportunity to observe the process of applying mediation to everyday life in Ukraine through more than 25 years of experience in the Low Countries. where, as in Ukraine, the initiative was in the hands of intermediaries, enthusiastic pioneers. There are now more than 3,000 registered active intermediaries in the Netherlands, more than 200,000 formal mediations and even more informal ones. It is also interesting that more than 30,000 people have taken mediation courses and use these skills in their daily work as judges, lawyers, notaries, managers, financial analysts, etc.

I hope that after the first day of the training, the participants realized that any challenge, including the lack of legal regulation of mediation at this stage of Ukraine's development, is a great opportunity for a new beginning and new horizons.

The mediator controls the interaction between different groups of objects. A real example is a chat room where different users write to each other. A chat room or server is an intermediary object that manages users and distributes messages to different clients.

The model helps to get rid of the connection by avoiding clear references to the participants. A chat room user does not know another user's direct link. It only knows the server and the ID of the other user. It is the intermediary's responsibility to forward messages to the correct recipient. So hundreds of users can be in a room and all objects are loosely connected.

This gives the mediator individual control over the interactions of all groups of users and objects, centralized management.

A chat room is a good real-life example of where the mediator model comes into play. Different users communicate with a server, and this server acts as an intermediary that distributes messages to different users. Therefore, users can communicate through the server and can be added to the room and receive messages.

If a user wants to communicate with another user, he sends the user ID and a message to an intermediary (server), which then forwards the message to the user with the given ID.

The client just needs to run the chat room object and add users who want to write to each other.

Design patterns are an important resource and knowledge base for all developers: they are very useful for solving programming problems, they help to constantly communicate with other developers about system design issues, they are a meaningful introduction to object composition (inheritance addition) and dependency inversion.

Solving algorithms and assigning responsibilities to objects. In addition, they describe patterns of mutual communication and capture complex program sequences. Therefore, they are ideal for use in areas where complex code must be readable and maintainable. Therefore, the extensions are very good and quick to implement.
